Currently, five days before the starting gun of the Münster-Cathedral Triathlon in harbor areas, the temperatures are still quite bearable. Only at the weekend was a practice round on the 20 km bike course (!) (See below; twice down) almost unbearable. Probably the very high ozone levels have made breathing extremely difficult. The heart rate was higher than I usually know from cycling.
for the run course the organizers have promised because of the high temperatures, up two people to walk through the showers. Anyway. Otherwise it's like to take things the last event may be a bit calmer.
Today I am in Bonn swinging again on the wheel. As the donkey race is already in Munster, I have "ridden" the nearly 60-year-old, restored my father's donkey race. Was great, because on the training track on the Rhine was blowing a breeze and it was much cooler than it was this weekend. And the old donkey NEN good job has been done, even if he only has 10 gears.
