Menopause, Muscle Pain, Weak Legs
Today again was a training ride on the road bike. Actually, the plan yesterday, but since then it had been raining too much. Meanwhile, I am about 53 km long route For the third time down, but she is always very nice.

After Remagen it then go with regular sweeping downhill to the Rhine. The Rhine is as always a highlight, even if the route seems to have no end. Here a few impressions that I would like to also rotate any longer, but the saddle is not so easy. ;-)

Today I ran the first round of the Aa and the city on the Promenade in Münster in interval training. Because of the slow intervals, the total time has become inherently slower than when I round the continuous run. About eight minutes longer were. With the rapid intervals, however, I had a much faster pace than I normally put on it to light. goal and purpose of the exercise is to increase permanently the basic speed of my legs to walk ten kilometer race track instead of the previously average 56:30 minutes with an average of 50 minutes. The intervals today I have not timed but am always after running certain sections of fast and slow run in rotation. Ok - some sections were too long, so I had to slow down before the end of the speed.
But even now, after my third interval firing there at all, I feel that I can think of the fast intervals easier than it was three weeks ago. Let's see - maybe I run my relay course at Münster-Marathon earlier this year at a higher speed than it was 2009th This should also against the background of intensive training in recent months to be there.

For me at this track quite a lot of memories were aroused from my childhood and youth in Lübeck. Even before the start of the Baltic Sea, I have decided to walk from the Old Town of Lübeck to Travemünde, a track that I'm already down by bike and inline skates. Today I completed the 22.18 km along the old main route to the beach regularly.
First it went from the St. Anne Street on the road and the crows Moltkestraße to the out skirts. The fine weather had a lot of canoeing and paddle boating on the seeähnliche Tail of the Wakenitz enticed. Past the old bathhouse and the school garden, the path leads to the castle gate and then Burglatz on the Travemünde Avenue.
Under the old residential area of the city park, we went on to Lübeck Volksfestplatz. Orientation is then asked: In the zigzag path leads through the dense forest after the Lauerholz until just before the toll on Mr. tunnel. Who here has bad luck, may have to wait 15 minutes on the free shuttle.

In Travemünde it goes further than the pedestrian zone of the front row, along the harbor to the beach promenade. From here there are only a few hundred meters to the beach chair and cooling in the Baltic Sea.

What would a runner without his running shoes? The course also included my own holiday on the Baltic Sea in luggage. Two beautiful trails I have Walk in my old home already.
The first is a spectacular scenic route between Travemünde and Niendorf on the Baltic. The round-trip route 14.5 km long. Behind Travemünde it out first on the so-called Brodtener shore, above the Baltic coast. While below the waves lapping against the beach, runners are treated to top fantastic view over the Bay of Lübeck. Again and again the trail leads up the steep bank by small woodland and scrub that in sun shade.
After going about five kilometers in Niendorf it down to the beach promenade in the summer can be quite full. A good two miles, you reach the small port with its tiny fishing boats.

Already on the beach promenade Niendorfer I am looking forward to the panoramic views at the cliffs, which are now very different to the Atlantic. The second route runs from the historic Old Town of Lübeck on the old Elbe-Lübeck Canal. It is 10.4 km long, but it may well be significantly extended to the south.
We run from the crow's road to the old city on the moat and the salmon weir in the direction of Lübeck-Moisling. Along the banks covered with reeds often there are always idyllic views of small channels of the channel. In Moisling
goes back way over the road bridge on the other side of the river in the old town. Shortly after the turning point plunge on the first towers of medieval churches among the tree tops. Shortly before the mill bridge, the tall Cathedral of Hamburg shows in full bloom. At the crow road goes back to our transition house in St. Anne area.

Slogans For Drinking Too Much
somehow is my 10-km run time in recent months 54-58 minutes. This has to be less, I've made up my mind. I would like to come to an average of 50 minutes and compete in each case less than 50 minutes. why I have now started an interval training, I would like to perform at least once a week. The intervals I first made simple: Ten minutes warm up and then each, alternating two minutes maximum speed and four minutes of easy trotting. This change 2-4-2-4 -... I will pass on my usual running routes. At some point I will then begin to extend the intervals when running fast. First time start small.
