More speed while running

somehow is my 10-km run time in recent months 54-58 minutes. This has to be less, I've made up my mind. I would like to come to an average of 50 minutes and compete in each case less than 50 minutes.

why I have now started an interval training, I would like to perform at least once a week. The intervals I first made simple: Ten minutes warm up and then each, alternating two minutes maximum speed and four minutes of easy trotting. This change 2-4-2-4 -... I will pass on my usual running routes. At some point I will then begin to extend the intervals when running fast. First time start small.
